100 ENCOUNTERS

The project 100 Encounters started after a wonderfully inspiring week in Sicily with Gina Milicia,  a photographer that I had been following on her podcast for years. I signed up for the Sicily Workshop in 2019, spent a wonderful week with 5 fantastic ladies. After they left, I had a day left and decided to go out and try to get a good character with my off camera flash. I happened to come across the local fishermen in Scoglitti and hence my first portrait was shot.
